Exploring the realms of computer science

Research Interests:

Self-Supervised Learning, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction

  • Supervisors: Prof. Snehanshu Saha, Dr. Surjya Ghosh

    Developed a framework for reducing annotation overhead using self-supervised learning, outperforming traditional approaches and SOTA methods on emotion recognition and surface classification datasets.

  • Advisor: Asst. Prof. Sherica L. Menezes

    • Used Deep Learning to classify the severity of diabetic retinopathy images.
    • Developed a fine-tuned model with 96.91% accuracy that performs well on unseen data by effectively learning using a small fundus image dataset of around 10 GB size.
    • This proposed model can be transferred to other biomedical engineering image classification problems using small training data.
