I am Alfiya M. H. Shaikh, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Systems at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus. With a strong academic background, I have developed expertise in machine learning and its applications.

My research is focused on innovative methodologies aimed at reducing data annotation overheads, particularly in fields such as healthcare and accessibility. I have contributed to this area through my project titled "Self-SLAM: A Self-Supervised Learning-Based Annotation Method to Reduce Labeling Overhead," which has been published and seeks to improve the efficiency of data annotating techniques.

I am dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to tackle real-world challenges and aim to make meaningful contributions to both academic research and industry practices.
